Oh yes, I am just writing a short little story for a friend:)
*ps, everything is in code names, but this is a "trueish" story*
Seth woke up and looked in the mirror only to see his hair flipping every direction. He wasn't going to let this bother him. He smiled as he thought about the activities of the day: eating breakfast, babysitting his siblings and oh ya, going to Bailey's birthday party. Bailey was a gorgeous girl who Seth had had a crush on for ages and recently they had shared secrets:)
They weren't a couple, just really good friends. They would always talk and hug each other, nothing more, nothing less. Seth was going to do something outrageous at her party though, he was going to attempt to hold her hand--he was so scared he almost peed his pants just thinking about it. He had been very tempted to try before but he figured it would be a very good birthday present to give her.
Once six thirty rolled around he combed through his hair one last time and brushed his teeth before he headed off into the strange world of boys and girls.
He arrived at the laser tagging arena right when he was supposed to. To his dismay however, he spotted Alvin leaning against a wall admiring Bailey as she walked around and greeted her friends. Alvin and Bailey had once liked each other, but since he lived so far away they just couldn't keep it up. Luckily he was in town and could come to her birthday party. Seth knew this meant trouble, but he still gingerly went up to Bailey. They hugged and he whispered "Happy Birthday" in her ear. She giggled sweetly.

Once they had been evenly distributed into their teams they went into the prep room and received their vests. Each vest has a gun and to keep track of the scores, the gun has a name to it. Seth clicked his and Ginger appeared. Great, he thought, a gun that matches my hair color. Once Alvin finds out, he won't let this go. Rolling his eyes, he carelessly walked around and listened to what his other friend's names were.
Bailey had coincidentally been given Aphrodite. The perfect explanation of her beauty, so Seth thought. Alvin on the other hand, was Hades, the perfect name for the evil boy.
Seth had been paired to be on Bailey's team, something he was more than happy to accept. Alvin had gladly taken the opportunity to be on the opposite team in order to flirt with Bailey as he tagged her constantly. Seth had a feeling though that Alvin had some other things on his mind too. Pushing the thought aside, they suited up for battle. 3, 2, 1, GO! shouted the employee guarding the door. Charging into the arena, they almost trampled the poor boy. Pushing and shoving ended quickly after they had cleared the doorway. Once you were inside you ran any where you could get a good shot from.
Seth waited before the doorway had cleared before he cautiously stumbled in. Entering a whole new world, he didn't know where to begin. Immediately thinking of Bailey, he began walking around. Keeping his gun ready, he got a few good hits before he eventually could hear Bailey laughing. His eyes always stayed on her--not in a stalkish way, but a loving way--just to make sure she was safe.
Loosing himself in the game for a few seconds was all it took for his eyes to drift away from her, giving Alvin his long awaited chance. Sneaking up behind her, Alvin covered Bailey's mouth and took her to a far corner away from everyone else. Sensing her absence, Seth spun around, only to find blackness. The smoke that filled the arena was still lingering in his eyesight as he darted around the arena trying to find Bailey. Seth began to feel frustrated. He knew something fishy was going on with Alvin, he knew Alvin was behind all of this, the only thought that crossed his mind however was, he needed to find his damsel in distress.
Frantically looking in every nook and cranny, being careful as not to make is presence known immediately, he searched for her. Feeling overcome with emotion and thoughts, he almost gave up. What could he possibly be doing with her? Am I being a retard for even jumping to conclusions like this? Where is she?!
Thoughts danced around in his head uncontrollably, he was going crazy over this!
Turning a last corner very slowly, he spotted the prey. Disgusted by what he saw and heard, he had to fight with himself not to barge over and punch him in the face right then. All Alvin was looking for was for Bailey just to give him a little kiss, nothing too bad. After all, they had liked each other once and they had never had the chance to. Seth stood by eavesdropping, slowly losing his control on his furry. Bailey told him that she had liked him, then she had realized how much of a jerk he was and how she didn't want him to make her do this. Despite her pleads, Alvin would not let her go.
Losing all control, Seth came around the corner, trying to keep his voice soft and calm, he said, "Alvin, let her go. She said she doesn't want to. Don't you have any respect for her?" Breathing very deeply, he gave Alvin the best death glare he could conjure up. It's working! Thought Seth as Alvin began to slowly let Bailey go.
Speeding towards Seth, Bailey encompassed him with a big bear hug. Alvin stared, disgusted. Seth's heart was pounding and he was surprised it hadn't burst out of his chest.
Alvin slowly walked away, the color on his cheeks truly showing his embarrassment of what he had just done.
Continuing to hug Bailey, she whispered softly, "Thank you Seth, Thank you."
All Seth could do was stand there, not daring to say anything for fear of ruining the moment.
After several minutes, the employee came on the loud speakers and stated that the game was over. It's now or never. Seth thought. Slowly pulling apart, he grasped her hand and they walked out of the arena. Oh ya, I'm the hero:) was Seth's last thought before entering the world again.
