FAIL:)

So, I have obviously failed with my whole gratitude thing:)
I tried, but Life just got in the way...and here I am like 3 months (ish) later...
things have been quite interesting recently,
Friendships and relationships have changed,
both for good and bad.
But nonetheless, life must go on.
I am currently working on homework because my classes require a lot of me...even thought I am a silly girl only taking 9 credits and working full time and I still can't keep up...
I am trying really hard to do my homework of course because I am writing on my blog, and I am watching movies all night...yay:)

Anywho, thanks for your time:)

Ironic Isn't It?

Ironic how we complain about something,
Expecting it to change, but knowing it can't,
Then when it doesn't change,
We get upset and start complaining about it again.

It seems to be a never ending cycle of stupidity.
Awesome.

Toxic

Toxic:
acting as or having the effect of a poison; poisonous: a toxic drug.
This could be anything.
People, things, places.

But if you so desire,
you can remove that toxin from your life.
If it tries to pry itself back into your life,
be strong and don't allow it to come creeping back in.

Let. It. Go.

I really enjoy this song so much:)
I have learned it on my guitar and I sing it at least once a day.
Not just because it is an amazing movie, but golly.
The song chorus is just so...gah:):)

I've really related it to my life and it has kinda become a motto for me.
I tend to overthink and over feel things,
when things really bother me,
I just repeat to myself, "Let it go."
I'll sing it in my head, sing it in my car, etc.

Recently though, I've been singing it maybe...10 times a day?
Just because so many things are going on that bother me.
Hmm. Yup, just gotta let it go.
haha.

tears are words the heart can't say

Why?
Why on earth do some people seriously not have hearts?
some times I wish it was this easy.
<------------------
If it was, the world would be a simpler place.
It is time for story time:

once upon a time there was a girl. she went to a great school where she met great people and she loved them. Then one day she had to leave them to find new friends. It was hard at first but she tried to stay close with her past friends. she thought she was doing pretty good with keeping up with them. she put things together and went to parties that they were hosting. then when guys and girls started to get mixed up, things got complicated. she had to say things to guys that she would never had wanted to say. she was slowing turning the heat up on the boiler. then one night when these friends were bored, they called people trying to convince them to hang out. and thats when it happened. a guy turned into a sudden jerk and called the girl on things she was saying. the girl apologized quickly and ended the conversation quickly as well. it had ruined her whole mood for the rest of the night. she went off by herself thinking about all of the things she had done recently, only to find negative. as she was on her way home from being "out with the guys", she decided to get up the courage to apologize to *certain* people. she didn't want to though, because it was 10:30, but she was feeling terrible. she dialed the number of the person she intended to call and was shocked to find the person awake (she had been expecting voice mail). to her horror, they sounded even more angry than before. when she started in on her apology she could tell that the person was rolling their eyes. their only response was, "oh, it's fine. don't worry about it. it was nothing. whatever." it was said in one of the rudest fashions. the girl quickly hung up and began to cry. how could someone be so heartless and knock someone down who had enough courage to do something as hard as that. the girl then decided she would not talk this person for the next while and let them live in their life of saddness. until she has enough courage to confront the person again.
If you are ever put into a situation like this, do not be a jerk.
You have no idea how hard it is for a person to apologize to another.
It is human nature to feel like you are always right.
You have to get past your pride and accept it.
Don't ever make a person cry over an apology that you didn't accept.
It is not good for either of you.
I don't care if they wake you up in the middle of the night,
accept it and don't question it.
And especially DON'T throw it back in their face.
Thank you.
<-----------
And this is how I basically feel at this point.

5.02.2012

Then What....

Sometimes I need to learn to keep my mouth shut.
I am losing a very good friend.
I apologize a lot.
But they are getting annoyed with me.
You don't realize how mean you are until it starts to affect you.
I hate myself for that.
I am truly a rude person.
I am not blaming anyone but myself.
Argh.
After this blows over, then what's going to become of it?
Yup.
That's basically all.
My friends call me names,
I apparently flirt too much,
I talk to much to some people and ignore other people too much,
I don't do well enough on assignments,
It just sucks.
I am a klutz,
I lose my phone constantly,
I have hair that just doesn't look good all of the time,
Everything apparently.
Oh well. It's all because of me.
I will work on it.
For now....Listen to this: She Will Be Loved

4.28.2012

you know you're a teenager when you...

have random mood swings.
blow up over tiny things.
get depressed over nothing.
feel that the world hates you.
feel that you have no friends, but then the next day you do.
think no one likes you.
don't feel important.
feel like you are people's "second choice".
want to murder someone.
blame everything on hormones.
just don't care, but REALLY you do.
do the randomest things with no care in the world of how stupid people may think you are.
try so hard to get a job and end up working fast food.
dance like no one's watching.
HATE boys, but then love them.
want to go on dates, but are too lazy to do anything.
don't do your homework and surf the web instead.
have an empty wallet.
earn money by mowing lawns.
want to go shopping--^even though you are broke.
text for the sake of texting.
go on long walks and talk with your best friend.

Plus soo many other things.
Darn teenageritis.
I don't want to be a teenager, but I do, but I don't.
It's too hard to decide.
I just want to graduate and actually begin my life.

prom

Oh,
ain't it lovely.
It is that wonderful time of year again.
Girls becoming giddy around their friends when that CERTIAN boy walks by,
boys scratching their heads, coming up with ideas to ask girls with.
Later girls are surprised to find little goodies in their lockers.
Excited they run and tell their friends.
Now they have to decide between not only two but THREE different boys.
...
Oh the joys of Prom season.
don't ya just love it.
I know I don't;)
Silly boys:):):)

Don't Believe It

"The harder the struggle, the more glorious the triumph."
Just please watch this video.
We watched it in Student Sucess and I almost cried.
Happy, inspirational tears, but still tears.

It is so sweet:)
You can believe what you want,
even if it's not the truth,
but no matter if it's true or not,
it still effects your life.
Please believe the good things.
When people "insult" you,
think about their personality.
Are they constantly saying this?
Am I the only one that gets told this by them?
If you analyze their personality,
You can uncover so many hidden triats about them.
If you discover they have a joking personality,
and they just so happen to "insult" you,
don't believe it, and move on.
You can be whatever you WANT to be,
You just can't be afraid to try new things.
Love You!!
I believe in you;)

Modesty

"Modesty is often talked of in terms of dress and apperance, but modesty encompasses much more than the outward appearance. It is a condition of the heart. It is an outward manifestation of an inner knowledge adn commitment. It is an expressiong that we understand our identity as daughters of God. It is an expression that we know what He expects us to do. It is a declaration of out covenant keeping. A question in the For the Strength of Youth bookelt really is the question each of us must consider: 'Am I living the way the Lord wants me to live?' When we truly know that we are daughters of God and have an understanding of our diving nature, it will be reflected in our countenance, our appearance, and our actions." ~ Elaine Dalton

"You are truly royal spirit daughters of Almighty God. You are princesses, destined to become queens. Your own wondrous story has already begun. your 'once upon a time' is now." ~Dieter F. Uchtdorf

Today in young womens,
We had such an amazing lesson.
The young mens President came and taught us a lesson.
He focused on Virtue.
He showed us a lot of videos and I almost cried--due to recent events.
He did an object lesson dealing with a cake.
It was a very beautiful cake and we all wanted to eat it.
To the young men, the cake is Us as Young Women.
He then proceeded to ask if anyone wanted a piece of cake.
One girls raised her hand and went to the front of the classroom.
Bro. Yeates continued to put a plastic glove on.
He dug his hand into the cake and smooshed it on a plate.
We were all surprised that he would treat such a pretty cake like that.
Then he cut a nice piece of cake out, making sure it looked perfect,
and set it on another plate.
"The young men only see the outward appearance," he explained,
"when you show the young men the inside of you,
which way would you like to present yourself?
The smooshed cake that is lacking virtue and control,
or the neatly laid out cake, showing the gospel in all that you do?"
All of us of course wanted to show ourselves neatly.
He talked about being respectful and the ture meaning of modesty.
Not only is it your dress and appearnce,
but your behaivor. They way you speak,
what you say,
What you do,
Everything.
He also brought up PDA.
Would you consider PDA an unmodest thing to do?
Yes, It is actually very unmodest.
He also showed us these pictures to go along with PDA:

NOT cute.

Cute.

Yes. Public Display of affection is NOT cute.
It was such a good lesson.
In the last five minutes,
the Young men joined us.
Then our Bishop spoke to us about what the young men learned.
They had learned how to treat a young women like a Queen.
By the Young Women President.
Such a good Fifth Sunday:)::):):)
I hope we can all be Modest.
Oh yes, and to make a personal Covenant of Virtue and Modesty with the Lord,
Brother Yeates gave each Young Women a floating Lantern.
And we are gonna let them go tonight at 6pm.
:)
Love you!!

1.26.2012

Oh dear.....

The decisions we make in life not only affect you,
but affect those around you.
When making a life changing decision,
make sure you take in account EVERYONE in your life.
Not just the ones in the immediate decision.
Think of all of the gospel standards,
Think of your value to God,
Think of it ALL.

Remember that it is your life.
But,
Remember who gave it to you.
1 Nephi 16:2
And it came to pass that I said unto them that I knew that I had spoken hard things against the wicked, according to the truth; and the righteous have I justified, and testified that they should be lifted up at the last day; wherefore, the guilty taketh the truth to be hard, for it cutteth them to the very center.

Yup.
That tis all.

1.24.2012

Oh yes.

Certain BOYS just need to move on and get it over with.
Many who know a CERTIAN girls drama would know.
He just needs to get it over with.
No more time for waiting.
Just rip the band-aid off. No need to keep it on.
{{ew. kinda a gross analogy}}
But seriously!! We talked about it Thursday.
And guess what.
You STILL haven't done it.
Bah Humbug!!!!
Oh yes,
and another side note for boys,
PLEASE don't lead girls on.
We take things more seriously than you realize,
so when you give us false hope,
We DON'T appreciate it!!
Thanks.

Get Worse for the Better.

Well,
Shelby is in the Hospital.
She has been in there since Friday Morning....
She almost died..... :S
A normal woman's blood level should be at 30,
well hers was down to a 9.26
They were surprised she was still able to walk.
They were also shocked that she was still alive!
She went through 5 bags of blood (O Positive)
and She has been in the ICU ever since.
She is doing SO much better though!!
I just miss her, and so does my dog Sadie,
She just roams around the house and is lonely because we have all been gone this weekend.
Oh yes,
I LOVE my madre!!
She has been staying with Shelby from 8 AM to 10:30 PM EVERY night since Friday.
She is missed around the house,
But she is so loving!!!
I love her to death:):)

Oh yes,
One more thing.
My Grandparents left on their mission today:)
They are going to Serve in Amsterdam!!
I think I've already told you this, but I love them!!!

Can I also say, I know that Shelby is supposed to live.
If she was to die, she would've,
But she is one of the most spiritual people I know.
She just started to work on her mission papers this past week
And I know that the Lord is looking out for her.
Imagine what would've happened if this happened on her Mission?
I am SO grateful to know that We have a Loving Father in Heaven who watches over us,
He protects us,
Loves us,
And is always there when we need him:)

12.14.2011

Sometimes

Sometimes we need to let go.
Let all of our frustrations out without anyone around.
Just you and your own thoughts.
The best way to do so?
Cry.
It is the best therapy I have ever had.
{besides talking with my parents}
It is something personal and no one has to be around to ask what's wrong.
You already know what's wrong and you don't want to talk about it.
Simple as that.
Is that a bad thing?
No,
We all need to do it at some point.

Can I just say that I really like
Christina Perri's Music.
It just really makes me feel good.
Strange huh?
Well, that's all:)
Now go cry;)

11.27.2011
