Pearl Harbor

I feel bad that I didn't post on Wednesday...

December 7, 1941

Pearl Harbor was attacked by Japan without warning.

It only lasted 110 minutes.

7:55-9:45

2,335 US Military Servicemen were killed.

1,143 wounded.

2,335 Men and Women would not return to their families.

Their families would never get to see the ones they loved.

2,335 White Crosses would be added to the solider cemetery.

Adding to the death total of WW2.

Then again,

Families would have a great lesson to tell their future families.

When people ask "Where is your father?" or "Where is your Mother?"

They can reply,

"My Father [or mother] died while serving my country. They were not afraid to die,

They were willing to die to save the US and protect me and those I love. Including you."

They could proudly say that.

Never being ashamed to say their parents died serving the country.

They truely will be blest.

And if they put their trust in the Lord, They will be protected and not afraind.

"And it came to pass that we did contend with an army of thirty thousand against an army of fifty thousand. And it came to pass that we did stand before them with such firmness that they did flee from before us."

 Anything is possible with the Lord.
