Birthday Blunders

Birthday: [burth-day] noun 1. a day marking or commemorating the origin, founding, or beginning of something.

Birthdays are happy days.
Days where you can celebrate the bringing of new life into the world--your life.
It is a day full of many memories from past years.

But, you are still moving forward, forever aging in this world.

I decided to be opposite on my birthday this year however.

Instead of receiving gifts, I wanted to give some.

*the night before my birthday I went to the store and bought flowers for my mother.

Heavens, without her, I would not be!! Haha, she deserved them:)

*after school on my birthday, I decided to participate in our Stake blood drive hosted by The Red Cross.

I found that it made me more happy than if I were to be selfish and simply receive.

Sure, it was nice accepting my friend's presents, but I felt so much better giving:)

Overall, I feel my birthday was a success.

After donating my blood was kinda a fail....haha:)

I went to my friend's house where we truly had a party:)

We gotta do donuts in the parking lot, and eat delicious food! My Fav:)

My birthday was wonderful:)
