Hmm.

I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.

Today has been an interesting day.

Drama happened over the weekend.

I went into today feeling stupid and hurt and sorry.

I wrote down my feelings in a note and gave it to someone.

After that,

My mood did a 360.

I ended my day being happy.

I wasn't going to let a small thing change my one day to live.
